I have Booked Alison Hamer from the English Heritage Maritme Archaeology Unit to come and give us a talk on Wednesday 2nd September at a location to be confirmed.
It would be really great if this is well attended as it could open up some interesting opportunties with some of the protected wrecks we have of our coast.
The invitation is extended to any other interested divers who follow the Meridian Divers blog. Please add a comment if you are planning to attend (or send me an email).

I'm plaing to attend (waiting confirmation from the Hall).
Er, planning , that meant to be!
Ernie & I will be there.
I'm hoping to be there Tad.
Thanks
Jim
great stuff Jim remember that this is open to anyone else from your Eastbourne club who maybe interested.
Thanks Tad, I'm hoping to bring some interested parties, will let you know.
Jim
Tad & all, can't book the Arlington Hall for 2nd Sept. It's already booked and they can't change their arrangements. Do you have another date? I don't imagine holding the talk in the Berwick will be satisfactory ...unless they have a private room.
Chris, they don't think they have a private room but up the stairs is seperated off from the main 'lounge' area.
Where I work at Chaseley, on the Seafront at Eastbourne, plenty of free parking, they have 3 rooms varying in size at £10.00 per hour (will try and get discount). Tad has looked at other village halls and community centres but they are costly.
We would not have use of kitchen but we could bring(although not encouraged) food and soft drinks.
I would go for this option Sheila
Thanks
Hello Guys.
