There is a large pond at the business park (old farm really). It used to be rented out to a fishing club who stocked it. I'm not sure how deep/silty/dangerous it is, but have always wondered about jumping in! Any thoughts or interest?
Hi Desperate from walderslade, I too have a need to get wet - the sooner the better- got very large bucket in garden but might have to dive one at a time! I free any sunday - up for beach, stoney, horsea, or the bucket!
It's about 3ft wide & 2 ft deep so cant practice your CESA or my much needed DSMB deployment! - we'll have to save those for deeper water. It's portable with handles and there's no hole, dear henry
It is in Sharpthorne, near East Grinstead. I'll get the camera tomorrow and e-mail you some pictures. It's about the size of a 25m pool if my memory serves me right, I haven't been down the track to it for a couple of years!

May I suggest, if your desire for a Buddy with a very GSOH remains unrequited, that you try a cold shower! :-)
Is Walderslade a place from a Harry Potter novel?
I have tried the shower but it was devoid of life apart from a strange looking tube worm
Walderslade was the inspiration for J.K.Rowling when writing chavvy trotter and the mystery of the burning escort
